SKIPPER - Chris

Since learning to sail as a child in New Zealand, Chris has been irrevocably drawn to the water. He will be your guide to a water wind and beach environment.

Travelling up from New Zealand to the Pacific Island Vanuatu on a yacht he had visions of his live-aboard dream.  Subsequently he has sailed to many destinations, run a fleet of yachts in Croatia way back in 1988, taught sailing in Sydney Australia, and has made countless long distance Ocean voyages clocking up over 25000 nautical miles. He is an experienced skipper and holds AYF Offshore Yachtmaster qualifications.

UK & New Zealand had been home for many years, but he now runs private charters onboard 'Libertas' based in the Greek Islands. He has a laid back approach to life, loves the great outdoors, is a great teacher & has a vitality for healthy cuisine.

Chris is a charming host & is great fun. His infectious approach to living life to the max is his greatest quality.  He is dedicated to adventuring, sharing the beauty of the sea & seeking out those special places for those cruising aboard 'Libertas'.

He has been practicing philosophy and Yoga for many years alongside his Yoga teacher wife Lee.

HOST Chef & Yoga Teacher – Lee

Iyengar® Karuna Yoga Teacher

Lee began her yoga path in 1995 whilst still in the travel industry flying for an airline & spending most of her time in hotels she found yoga on the beach a useful way to keep fit & de-stress. In 2001 she pursued & followed her teaching training path.

Lee is qualifed to teach under the International Yoga Teachers Association and holds the highest 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training Diploma.

After leaving her career in the airline industry, she began teaching yoga in 2002 whilst also working in a busy London professional career. Lee's alternative, ambient teaching style proved so popular with her public, corporate and private classes throughout London, that she left her career position to concentrate on full-time teaching, following her spiritual path.

Lee believes wholeheartedly in the Iyengar system as it has helped her to gain fitness and vitality as well as coping with the stresses of her former busy city life. She believes that yoga is for everyone and every 'body' and that it is a holistic system that is both spiritual and life-giving.

Having taught in the UK for 6 years, Lee now teaches yoga tailored to the needs of her guests (absolutely no experience necessary - participation optional)

If all this isn't enough, Lee also happens to be a talented and accomplished chef! Assisted by her 'partner-in-crime' Chris, a seemingly endless supply of wholesome and tasty food (sourced locally where possible) emerges from the depths of Libertas' galley.
